Dissolution

Savannah Skye

The moon crashed into the sun
While I was visiting neverland

The earth's rotation was disrupted
Causing my dreams to be dislodged

Spreading them out into the vast universe
Where bright stars had faded to black

Beneath jagged edged thoughts
That cut tension into my mind

They left a trail of dissolution
For me to meander barefoot down

Somewhere I lost my shoes along the way
While trying to put the earth back together

Piece by discombobulated piece
That fell from the visions in my mind
