Well, that's basically why I got taken on in my job. I dredge the net for Heathen/Pagan groups that use the religion as a cover for, normally, neo-nazi recruiting, propoganda, etc. Then I send reports and reccomendations to the boss.

I also get to investigate write reports on ... for example, Hessen police had a spate of "pentagram found in woods" kind of thing.

There is more to it. NOTHING is as easy as it sounds. But that is "in a nut shell".

So I supose you could say "folklorist" was my job.

Thanks guys. I'm going to be calling the University tomorrow (or tuesday, if they're closed tomorrow) to find out if I can get my degree and courses on evening/weekends.

I just honestly don't think that I could afford to go back to school full time right now... But a little bit of learning while I continue paying off my debt for a year or so would be great.
Trying to create a world, even in words, is good occupational therapy for lunatics who think they're God, and an excellent argument for Polytheism. -S.M. Stirling
