I'm all for 'merry' holidays, but am on the non-alcoholic beverages for the time being. But it makes parties very amusing when you are the observer of merry mayhem

Maelroth and I are both non-drinkers ourselves, okay I have one Long Island ice tea a year when our friend comes down from Washington. It's not really because of our health (though that is taken into consideration), but more because we have a better time not drinking, it's nice to remember those happy/merry times. That and I'm a certified bartender who grew up with an alcoholic uncle, and is worried sick about her son's drinking habits.....ahem..uh...sorry about that little, um, rant. But honestly I've found that holiday's and get-togethers are more peaceful and enjoyable when alcohol is not involved. Of course I must admit that I am a legal card/prescription carrying resident of California of a controversial, yet natural "medicine" that allows me to maintain a very calm and peaceful state of mind.....As long as no one messes with my munchies! LOL!
